Rabbits for adoption near you

House rabbits from rescues that know their personalities.

Available now

Listings are connecting. AdoptNearby reads the RescueGroups.org feed that shelters and rescues already use. Animals appear here automatically as organizations approve the connection, with photos and notes from the shelter.

How adopting works here

  1. Open an animal to see the full photos and notes from the shelter.
  2. Use the contact button on that page. Applications go to the shelter or rescue, never to us.
  3. They handle the meet, the paperwork and the adoption fee, which usually covers spay or neuter, vaccines and a microchip.

Before you bring them home

Two things new adopters put off and regret: insurance and the setup. Handle both the week you say yes.

Partner links open in a new tab. Some may pay AdoptNearby a commission; that never changes which animals are listed or how they are ordered.
